Are you just interested in knowing some of the common diseases that can cause a given symptom? Our symptom checker apps can help you with either of those tasks. These apps ask similar questions like your doctor would, and provide a list of the most likely diagnoses based on your answers to these clinical questions.

HOW TO USE THE APPS

• Answer all the questions in the app's questionnaire (usually 10 - 15)

• Click on the "Diagnose" button

• A short list of possible diagnoses (usually 5) from the most likely, to the least likely will show (see block key interpretation below)

• Scroll down to the list of common causes of the symptom and click on the ones that appeared in your list, for a description of these disease conditions

• Click "Print" button to either print your answers with the results, or to store them in pdf format

• Click the "Refresh" button to rest your answers and start anew if needed

• Conversely, you can skip all of the above and directly scroll down to the list of common causes, to read up on any of the disease conditions you are interested in learning about.
